The Tomb of Chak Toh Ich`ak, a large mesoamerican city. Nice and playable, sometime a little flat and predictable; but fun and plenty of original structures.
Brumal Quest large snowy village.
Happy Birthday Quake!

Another recommendation: For My Babies - Bin Dunne Gorne 2.

This is a great map to explore around in. Also the author is willing to try various odd things -- from map layout, to monster positioning, to a few gamecode mods -- that feel different from the groove of many recent "big name" Quake map releases.

Cool, still posting new stuff. And on it's birthday.

I am currently playing oum. It is a science fiction episode.

Does anyone know quoth, the base mod only has two levels, but lots of cool additions to the game. Do you know good maps based on it?

Honestly I don't think the monsters of Quoth are so great, often they are just too powerful, leave ridicolous ammount of ammo and some simply do not blend with Quake.
However, Moldy Tower is a great Quoth map
