Yeah, mouse trails are the annoying part, especially when you're moving inventory around.

Someone told me to turn off mouse trails in control panel>mouse, but I already had them off.

Jeffro: I downloaded the Direct X SDK, went into Direct X Control Panel(non x86 version), selected DirectDraw and unchecked "Use Hardware Acceleration."

This did the same thing as above but it shouldnt affect your newer games(so no switching back and forth for me, so far).

Edit- I'm on Win 7 Pro 64-bit with an Nvidia 400 series card.

KOC: Thanks man, I had some performance issues also, but this solves it :)

I om on Vista, and like voivod I couldn't use the other method because my driver "wouldn't allow it".

So again, thanks! Shame I get mouse cursor trail instead (anyone to fix it?), but smooth performance makes it more than worth it:):):)
Try SoftBltFast=1 in Torment.ini to remove the pointer trails.
Tried it and it's still there. Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe it'll work for others?

Jeffro:
Strange. Works here, but makes the game laggy as hell. It's a flickering mess. :(
