chrysantas: I love this game, it's one of the few games I actually beat multiple times since even your current class can change some interactions.

Even though I have had a copy since 2002/2003 which I was barely able to get a hold of after Interplay went under, I still bought this version.
I have the big box version too, and the strategy guide, but having a digital copy will save me getting my discs scuffed up. Plus it's nice to be able to click a link and install the game instead of routing through my draws. :D
Okay, that's it, I officially forgive GOG for their PR stunt.

I tell you, these guys won't even let a guy hold a decent grudge, they have to go and release totally awesome stuff like this. Grumble grumble.

Shadowsetzer: TORMENT!

(It helps that, thanks to the magic of custom voicesets, my CHARNAME in Baldur's Gate sounds like TNO.)
I'd love to try this. Do you have a link to a finished voiceset?
While waiting for the download to finish I opened the soundtrack and now I got tears in my eyes. Thank you for bringing back so many great memories. *sobs

Duffadash: Hold your ground, hold your ground! Oldschool gamers, gamers of GoG.com, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the entertainment value of retro games fails, when we forsake Sacrifice and Duke Nukem 3D, but it is not this day. An hour of whining and Xbox Live, when the age of nostalgia comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we game! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you *Buy Planescape: Torment!*
Best. Post. EVER.

http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_soundsets.php

This site has a whole bunch of soundsets, including TNO, Dakkon, Annah, and Vhailor. And that's just from PS:T. You can make him sound like Darth Vader if you want! Also, I believe all of the soundsets on that site are designed for BG2 - they'll work just fine for BG, you just won't be able to hear the critical hit/miss and other sounds that BG didn't have.

And if you pick TNO, be prepared for your character to constantly think everything is a hallucination and feel like he's 'gone through a shredder'. Oh, and to wonder what can change the nature of a man, of course. :)

I am so beyond elated by this. I wasn't too miffed with the stunt because it seemed like it was just a prank at the time, however having never played but always hearing about how great PST is, I coudln't resist the urge to jump on it the second it become available. Started it finally last night and have been having a damn enjoyable time so far going wis/int/cha. Can't wait to get home to play more =/
