Oh my god this is so AWESOME!!!!!

I got excited like a little school girl when I saw the announcement on twitter!
Simply A.W.E.S.O.M.E !
Thanks GOG
now I wish I never bothered spending ages "aquiring" this game and just been patient
As of today 'Good old Games' is now officially 'GREAT old Games' - even though I already have 2 copies of Planescape Torment (one as a backup for when I wear out the first one's CD's!)
TORMENT!

(It helps that, thanks to the magic of custom voicesets, my CHARNAME in Baldur's Gate sounds like TNO.)
for me that's even better than BaldursGate. Totally out of the blue, my beloved PLANESCAPE .... thank you so much, here, take my money :)

I love you crazy monks

YESSSSS!!! THANK YOU GOG!

*updates my journal!*
All I can say is thank you GOG. I've wanted both Baldur's Gate and Planescape for a while now.

I was holding out on buying any new games until Fallout 3 New Vegas came out but FO3 NV can wait for me to play the real good games.

I couldn't have cared less about this place before. Now I'm excited to see what you do next.
Very cool! Thanks! I have been wanting to play this for several years, and I'm loving it so far. (The Witcher is still my favorite, though. Can't help it.)
So glad PS:T is here!

To me, its the only game ever made that can compete with the Baldur's gate series. :D
I think GOG just made bank.

This is the single greatest move they could have made, and there is absolutely no question that GOG is back in good standing with its users after that prank.
Well, either this was a well-thought out and carefully crafted response to the backlash of their prank, or they had already planned to release this bad boy and it just came at the best possible time. Either way this was a total win and an instant buy for me.

mondik: torment = mustbuy, no discussion here.

But I wonder, how many of those "I'll never buy on gog because of their PR prank" are spending money right now ;-)
Personally I'm just playing a bit more cautiously with GOG after the prank. Making sure I have free space for the game(s) and all bonus content on two separate disks. download game + all bonus content directly after purchase and copy to both disks.
... I did buy Planescape the moment I saw it on the front page. :)

Oh, I should probably set up an external linux file server to keep backups of all my GOG games on too.
I love this game, it's one of the few games I actually beat multiple times since even your current class can change some interactions.

Even though I have had a copy since 2002/2003 which I was barely able to get a hold of after Interplay went under, I still bought this version.
Heh, I passed on BG because I already have it, but PST? No way I can avoid to buy it... again!

Thank you GOG!!
