Bleeargh! I positively DETEST that model! I found one of those crashed, had it for a while, then bought a new ship with three more slots for a couple of million and half an hour later I find another one of these as a wreck, with one more slot than I had. So it was back to that again. Finally got rid of it and flew the snub-nosed cigar-shaped small tube-type (the Oomorozo or something like that) for a good while before finding a truncated x-wing type.

I'm still flying the pre-order bonus ship I redeemed at the beginning of the game, except that by now it's almost completely upgraded out, 3x shields, a few photon cannon ones, engine upgrades, etc

Nice one. I experienced it gets more and more expensive the closer you get to the center of the galaxy if you want to purchase a ship. No matter which species you are with, there are ships for 120 -140 million units.

I just found a new ship for me. Searched a Gek planet for a while and now I own this one. A Chidakas S31, also with 48 slots and upgraded by myself.

Nice ship, I am at 41, (just figured out how to get the transmissions right) I hope mine looks as good when I get to 48.

:) The force is so strong with that one it hurts. Came across one without the casket on the wings, and only a point forwards at the tip of the wing. And the wings were sort of pointing a bit downwards, so the cockpit looked like it was a bigger dome. Looked like a cooler variant of the jedi starfighter ships, after someone with actual taste took a welding torch to it for a while. Unfortauntely it cost 78million units. ..Would probably have kept it even if it had 12 slots.

im kind of picky when it comes to the ships. i dont like the x-wing/viper ones and i dont like the tube ones much either.

sooo..i keep passing on ships just because i dont like them. i know its stupid....but i do it anyway.

im currently flying this guy...its ok...not great, not terrible. it will do for now.

It`s not stupid. That`s exactly how you should play the game, your way. I have ignored better ships and better guns simply because I hated their look. Pink? Screw that! Yellow? Nah. Dark grey and red- FINALLY!

yeah...youre right. im at like 70 hours or so (not sure as the nmse mod makes it so galaxy cant keep time anymore), and my ship is only at 22 slots.

im not in any hurry.

and yeah...ive come across a lot of pink ships. not that i have an issue with them...its just odd theres so many. mostly those tube ships.

I have an issue with them- they`re pink. :)

hehe...my current multi tool is hot pink and lime green. id take a ship those colors in hot second. i might even downgrade my ship to get those colors.

probably not...but i might., depends on the ship. id take a downgrade for one of those crazy asymmetrical bubble ships in hot pink and lime green.

hmmm...now ill have to see how to mod a slaanesh symbol on my ship just in case.

ok, this is getting a tad frustrating.

over 2 systems and 6 planets, ive found roughly 15 crashed ships.

ALL 15 have been the same basic model (the long tube kind) and all of them have had 1 less slot that what i already have.

that doesnt seem right.

of course...the very next one i found after i posted that was a different kind of ship with an extra slot.

and the one after that a different one still with another slot.

so...never mind i guess.

Agreed. Yellow might not be bad on a fighter ship. A ship in red would be great for me, too.

Cruising from system to system I came across this Onbetsun S71 and took it. It's not a fighter but also no freighter/tube type. More like a shuttle...

Finally got to 48 slots. Was hoping it wasn't real ugly, it's not, but I think i will look for a sleek looking one.
