ozzyoscy: This is a really small team and that would probably require hiring yet more people, and for the past few years and certainly now hasn't been a priority.

But most of all, if I was someone in the games industry, the last thing I'd want is another forum or platform for these stereotypical entitled brats to whine, whine, whine.

Socratatus: But what about those of us who really like the game and want to show our appreciation?

Not having a forum to avoid whines is like throwing out the baby with the bath water. Besides, they can use Moderaters for the extreme cases.
Then send them an email or a tweet.

There's already the store forums as well as game forums in general for talking about the game, it would be unecessary.
