So..possibly time-out/priority conditions on certain replaced/overriden resources? *sigh*

(Why. They're not changing anything else. Other than simulating the characteristic xbox or ps4 controller jerk-movement, on my actually good pad, I mean. That effectively makes sure that the analog sticks can be used as the old 4-way click sticks. Now also on your functional analog pads, or even when using a mouse. Brilliant, really. Because clearly this is what everyone wants.)
In my RX 480 display features settings, I noticed no profile existed for NMS, like for my other graphic intensive and new games. Not sure if game or windows or driver creates these. But there is a manual option for the End User to create one. So I made a profile for NMS.exe. in there I picked Standard performance and Custom.

Then in game, I turned up everything, to High. Shadows to High, not Ultra. A-A is 2nd option, FIXX or something, not at PC or I would post more details. Something in those changes removed the tearing in some sky views, when lifting off, outside my piddly 15 slot ship hud. Yeah, that was frustrating, I saw that too. This is how I stopped it from occurring.

Also, I cranked filter up to 18, to make it prettier. But tearing was unaffected by filter my filtering number. Pop in just got more pixelated, with a higher number. Smoother, I guess. But outside game, I am keeping consistent with that NMS profile, I had to self create.

Official Patch notes:
https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212851409-Patch-1-09-1-PC-Only
BUILD ID NUMBER: 1389976

PC only as the issues addressed -

Fixed an issue causing save games to become corrupted.

Fixed a rare crash.
I notice they don't mention that 1.09.1 was also to bring GOG in line with Steam's 1.09 patch.
.....and the patch notes are gone!

Yep, along with the 'announcement' of upcoming changes.

I'm not sure anyone can fathom the HelloGames strategy anymore. It is odd.
I suspect it was put there as a joke/hack. It never appeared on the main website and that 'zen' site had not been used in a while previously.

As for now we are left to wonder what they did change in the games exe for this patch, i hope one day we do get patch notes on the official site where all the others are.
