now i don't wanna bash the game here because i enjoy some aspects of it and as much as i want to defend the game from alot of overreactions and hate from some people, i have to be honest here...

im not satisfied with so much content promised but not delivered.
it's not really encouraging me to spend anymore money on gog if they don't do anything about this or give people their money back because they've been lied to on a pretty big scale...

how big? well i think this list covers it pretty well.

Here's the thing. At this point you are either trying to get people who like the game to feel like idiots for buying it or you're here to circle jerk with the rest of the anti-NMS crowd. (Probably both) No one cares why you don't like it, go play something else.
lol what hes the virgin and iq below 10 to do with no man's sky Regals and why is your rep -61 than. its not nice to say

The other reason you're a cunt is because you're blaming GOG. All they did was deliver you the game you paid for. Maybe you should have waited to read your precious reddit posts before throwing out your $60. GOG shouldn't refund you a single cent.

I am not going to read that link because I never visit reddit as I don't want to read countless text.
It's completely fine if you like or dislike or feel in the middle about this game.
I don't care much about promises that were not kept as I never expected any promises as I have stopped getting sucked from the marketing of a game before release. I play video games for over 35 years now, I have had enough BS from developers, publishers, PR, fanboys and haters. I simply don't care.

It is a shame if you actually expected more things from the game and didn't get them.
It is not a shame if you found out about the so called promises, after the fact you bought the game and trying to find a reason to "return" the game.
Regardless, GOG have nothing to do with any promises by the developers. It's like buying a physical copy of the game (if there was one) and then go back to the shop you bought it from and ask for a refund because of broken promises.
If you are new in gaming, and of course if any promises were broken and you knew about them before you bought the game, then consider yourself having learned a lesson. Either wait for reviews from gamers, not "game journalists", or go for it, buy/pre-order a new game and deal with the consequences.
That's how gaming goes.
That's how every goes.

I am about 10 hours in the game, perhaps a bit more, not sure, and I like the game a lot. I don't expect the game to hold my interest for months or years, but it is definitely holding my interest this month so far.
Then again, I was expecting a procedural generated world which you can explore, and I got this.

Happy gaming.

Very well said, and exactly how I feel as well (20 hrs in here)

It's almost like the guys at work expected me to be embarrassed that I bought the game. However after talking to them for about 10 mins about what you can do in the game they were in awe and wanted to get it themselves.

I'm not attacking anyone in saying this, but I honestly think that PC gamers will cause the death of PC gaming before the consoles kill us off. I mean some of the best games seem to get the most criticism for the silliest things. Each Bethesda game that comes out seems to get harsh criticism yet I have found some of them to be the most enjoyable experiences of all time. I've owned almost all of them at launch and never had a single one not work, or be unplayable, or have any game breaking bugs. None.

This. Pure logic.

I also am no fan of Reddit. Or Twitter for that manner. Don`t touch them. All they seem to do is cause problems.
What I can't get my head around is that it is quite obvious now that the game is a £1.99 budget game, yet it stays in the number one spot here and on steam at £40.
I thought most would have binned or refunded by now.
