Tatwi is right: we should spread out (actually, we're doing so already).
GOG-87 is a lottery win. A big one (forced by CyberNek, I hear). There's no twin system in the neighbourhood (pleeease prove me wrong).
But still, there should be some kind of 'lobby' for new settlers, and old alike, to minlge, and to exchange hands-on building experience and advice, and so on.

Many interesting planets are to be found in the vicinity, but their system as a whole never fits the bill: there're always sentinels in the way, somewhere. The otherwise best choices I've come across had "frenzied" sentinels or "hostile patrols". Not fun to build there (but I'll try anyhow).

We'll have to compromise.
I'd be happy with both of Johntodd's propositions (in my opinion, its icy moon doesn't give the 2nd one an edge, given it's just a featureless snowball - it has cool critters, though, I'll give it that much).

Anyway, here're some of my own finds:
(1)
System name: Ukorja
Base name for teleport: {Ukorja}Romu
07fd:0082:07f3:01e6
(See attachment for portal code.)
2 green planets
1 desert planet
1 icy moon (basically John's moon plus some hovering rocks)
1 failed planet
The storms are somewhat on the bad side. On the green planets, the sentinels are "unwavering", which, to my mind, is manageable (think: wasps).
Not as lush'n'gaudy as GOG-87.
(2)
System name: Nojoseo
Base name for teleport: {Nojoseo}Rawten
07fd:0083:07f3:00fb
(See attachment for portal code.)
1 green planet
1 hot
1 a big icy one (that's a good one, with a red pacific and highlands)
1 mushroom (big caves with critters; I barely left, and 'rost' already settled here!)
2 radiated
The 'green' one, Rawten, would be the one to point new settlers to - not as easy as Proxima was for me!
(3) There's another one -- but the game didn't rename the teleport base, ... and I can't find it right now :/
Tell me your thoughts!
