corran109: People will always take days off for games/updates. This is just a how things go. They should have expected that.
I don't require parity if one condition is met: Communcation. Something we're sorely lacking at this point. A lot of us are unsure if we even get the update at this point, because GOG can't even say "you will get the update".
nullzero: That approach is risky. Perhaps consider taking the day after release off work instead of the release day?
Hello Games noted that the release date for the update is the 24/07/2018, so they will hit that target assuming that it will be released here today.
It is risky, which is why I didn't take today off. But I understand the sentiment of those who do. I've taken the time off for other games before.

Talidan: How entitled do you have to be to say a company should "expect" you to take the day off work to play their game?
Just relax, friend.
It's not entitlement. It's a thing that happens. For every game. A company would have to be blind to expect it to not happen. I'm not sitting here expecting them to cater to every whim. I just want more than zero communication.
pyth0n1ze: Remember that GOG is
Good Old Games. Technically it isn't supposed to be in sync with other platforms...
NmS NEXT will be, when it will be.
They stopped calling themselves Good Old Games a while ago. Specifically when they decided to sell new games. They're just GOG now.
