escapist23: I had no such problems, i.e. MOW works without the internet. Maybe during the installation the firewall asked if it could connect and so authenticated this and that. Be as it may, I really don't care, it works for me. Either way, if they said they are working on it, they are. No reason bitching about compensation, you sound like an old broad.
Go to the GOG page and you see a big banner that says "NO DRM".
And here we have a game that, whoops, accidentally has DRM that is preventing the product from working for some people.
That's not "bitching like an old broad", its a serious issue of false advertising. They should not be selling a game under false pretenses.
"Look I know the sign said 18 karats but its fine as is... stop bitching like an old broad, 14 is just as good"... sounds ridiculous? That is because it is.
