That's a bit harsh, there are many legitimate criticisms of Beamdog ...like for the new charecters and ecnounters they added to the BG games, That was not updating and enchancing,,that was rewriting and redesigning.. which does not fit in well when you are selling a game as a classic game just updated and enchasced for modern systems...but, yeah, a lot of the hatred for Beamdog is just plain silly. SOme people really seemed obsessed by it to the point where I think they might need professional help.

You are right about what you say. They added a few things, and it is still optional in the game to experience it or not.

But to my understanding, NWN, just like IWD and PST, was curated and enhanced, and I don't recall people being disappointed about the game.

As for the price, the asked price is fair and honest for this type of game.

if it's optional to turn off the added material, I have not found out the way to do it.
ANyway, I think having the new stuff as the default is a m istake. The original unaltered game whould be the default.
And BD;s expansion for BG2 was pretty much a disaster,,though not bercause of the sexuality of some of the main charecters. It's that the gameplay stunk.
But, yes, BD does eeem to have learned it lesson about "improving the game content" of the games.
BTW, as expected, the threads in the general section here on NWN EE coming to OOG are a trainweck.

I'm not one for forums'. But over the years I've been paying attention to Beamdog, and I gotta ask this: Do they have no creativity but to rehash older games, and creating DLCs' to the older games they enhanced? Very much seems they're in it for the money from nostalgia. That's my thought.

Here was hoping for the 64Bit version Beamdog once said it be out on par with the GoG release *hopes for a friday update*
