PeterScott: You don't speak for "the rest of us", only for yourself.

If this anything near approaching the content of a real expansion, more of the "rest of us" might actually buy it, but since it has just about ZERO of the content you would get in an expansion and the game would play exactly the same for me after spending $20, I don't see the point spending money on window dressing.
In this case 'the rest of us' is the nice players on my server and myself and my dev team, and yea, we are having fun without you. *shrugs* Suit yourself.

Taro94: And God forbid devs wanting money for their work. I guess they should just start working on a previously abandoned game in their spare time as a form of hobby only.
The only Devs that could make that argument are Ossian Studios.

And why is that?

Because Wizards of the Coast screwed them hard. Jesus, pay attention to the games you are arguing about.

I know they were screwed. I asked why ONLY they can make that argument, because I feel every dev deserves payment for their work, not just those that were screwed.
If you are unable to interpret the question correctly, you would do well not to act like a dick. You feel bigger shame this way.

Unfortunately GOG is full of evil troll when it comes to Beamdog
According to last friday stream, NWNEE might come out next week, if no trouble happen.

Hm, I saw somewhere Pictures of better 3D Models for the people
and other Creatures in NWN EE.
That ReCap does not seem to adress those it seems.
Anyone has some valid(!) news about that Feature?
Any more news? I am interested in the EE.

That is a feature made possible by the EE changes. That means the EE can have those better models, but they're not done yet. The models showcased so far (Aribeth, one of the male pcs, some furniture, etc) are a glimpse of what is to come.

According to this video:

Ossian studios are the folks commisioned with reworking and overhauling all assets in game, including models and textures.

By the way, I am also eagerly awaiting the (hopefully) imminent arrival of the EE here at GOG. Hey blue guys, any news?

*smiles* Thank You, svmariscal.
The build is ready and from my understanding, there is a schedule conflict between GOG and Beamdog. With the 10th Anniversary it might not be the ideal timing, but I'm waiting for this to release like forever
I remain uninterested in NWN: EE unless they decide to add full party control, but it seems like there might actually be some movement on that:

https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/71679/the-full-control-of-ai-party-summons-henchman-companions-and-familiars-card-discussion/p1

Still a bit vague, though, and it looks like it's been a while since there have been any updates about it. Still, it's a step in the right direction, away from their previous stance of "Singleplayer is the wrong way to play NWN, so no FPC for you."
They confirmed they have gold candidate. They are waiting with GOG to release the game after the 10th anniversary
low rated
To all the fans out there, it's coming tomorow.

For those who will not be happy about this, buy the Diamond now and stop whinning about it.

For those like me who have the Diamond and are eager to play the EE, enjoy your game.

Thanks Beamdog for working this out with GOG
