I might have missed this somewhere here (I think it is old news) but I just noticed the Arcade Kollection on Steam has been removed. So it is even nicer that it is here, 75% off right now too.

Take it from me I used to own Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection on Xbox 360. These DOS ports are much closer to their original games. Yes partly they do lag especially Mortal Kombat 1. Also using cheats codes does make them feel more like true MK games at the time. The biggest difference without question is audio. If you listen to both of them side by side. DOS ports nail most songs and sound effects. Yet it is missing some of the sound effects that are present in Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Another great thing about DOS ports is you can change the controls.

I have to disagree and I also played both. As I mentioned before Arcade Kollection has a ton of problems but it is closer to actual arcades. The biggest differences are noticeable in PC version of MK2.
