Hi everyone! Thank you very much for participating in the development of Minotaur : ) I apologize in advance for the bugs that you might encounter, we will of course do our best to deal with them. In some cases, they will require an update to our game engine, and since that's not something easily done in the middle of a development cycle, it might be a while before we fix them. However, there are still ways to work around some of them:

Game window being displayed incorrectly on 4K monitors with (usually) high PPI density

Here's what might help: pressing ALT+ENTER twice with game window in focus; after this, you should be able to stretch the window normally.

Random Chinese symbols appearing in dialogue lines, usually in second half of Nod's route

This is a very weird issue that we discovered literally on the night before release. We're still trying to figure out what's causing it, but it might be an overflowing text buffer. In either case, quitting the game entirely (for example, after an autosave) and then re-launching it usually solves the problem.

I'll update this list with other problematic bugs that we can't get rid of right away : )

Any plans to release the Linux version? Probably shouldn't be too hard if you are using Unity or something similar?

Hi shmerl! We're using Visionaire engine, actually, and we need to upgrade to the newest engine version in order for it to support all game features on Linux! We decided that it's too risky to switch in the middle of the development cycle, but we plan to do it by the next major update. We should be able to add Linux support then (because of course we'd love to).

Cheers!

By the way, the music in the trailer is great (Brain Freeze Boogaloo-13805 by Giles Palmer / Alessandro Rizzo / Elliot Ireland). Why did you not include it in the OST package? Where is it possible to buy it as FLAC?

If anyone is interested, found the tack here (mp3):

Not sure if they have it anywhere as FLAC.

Hi again shmerl, I'm glad that you like that track! It's actually included into the OST, but as a hidden "bonus" track : ) It's a bit complicated, but we basically managed to get the rights for selling it just a few hours before the release, and since the art and the track list have already been finalized, we had to include it in such a roundabout way. It plays after about a minute of silence past the last track ("Haunts Me"), in both MP3 and FLAC versions, but if you want to listen to it separately, you'll have to split the audio : )

Heh, thanks for the hint!
