Just bought MegaRace 1&2 yesterday and had a blast playing the first game!

Looking forward to the second but I'm really tempted to get the third now whilst it is on sale for $2.99! :D

EDIT: Just bought MegaRace 3... Oh dear! O_o

I'm a huge fan of Megarace 1 and 2 and was over the moon when i found out they were available from Gog.com The problem that i had with MR3 was firstly that Christian Erickson seemed to be giving a performance that must have been some kind of contractual obligation rather than willingly, as he looked like he was in pain for the most part of it. The game also felt like it had never been intended as a megarace game and had the name slapped onto it to sell it. Add to that the loose controls and the game is an umitigated disatser. Basicaly it had been made to cash in on Episode One Racer for PC.

I still play MR1 for the dailogue ("The action show where violence happens only ONCE every few seconds!") but MR3 killed the franchise. Avoid.

It says a LOT that there is an option to turn the Lance Boyle commentary OFF.

I felt so bad for Christian Erickson. This game is a parody of a parody of a parody.

The game itself is insanely difficult, in a not so good way. Megarace 1 & 2 were difficult but you keep coming back to see what's next and it wasn't impossible to beat the game. However same can't be say to M3 since it's almost impossible to beat even first few levels due to bad design and too much handicap for the player.
