It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

alcaray: OK, first, I've been a (non-galaxy) member since '12 and I have 225 games in my GOG collection. I've been around the block a few times and know what the installer usually does. So when I tell you guys 3 times that it did not create any shortcut, please, I beg of you, believe me.

Also, I should mention that this is a slightly abbreviated installer that does not give you a chance to select an installation folder, nor does it give you options to create or not a desktop shortcut nor start menu entry.

When you say: "After installing, just run the exe", what exe are you referring to?

Bookwyrm627: While I pull together some more screenshots to show pretty much everything I'm seeing, could you open a new thread for your question? Let's stop hi-jacking this thread, in case it takes us a while to reach a solution.
I thought if there was something wrong with the offline installer, then @Surter, the dev would probably want to hear (or if the installer needs a non-standard procedure for people to get it to work right). Also he asked for info about the launcher and my inability to make it appear might fit his definition.

In any case, I will do as you ask.

Hi alcaray,

Indeed, the feedback will help us fix any bugs that might arise. What we wanted to do is to allow people to run any preferred version of Master of Magic (Original, Community Patch, Caster of Magic) without having to mess with files or without them overwriting each other. As such, you will need to download and install the new offline installers.

I replied to you in the other thread as well. Please let me know if that clears things up enough for you and do not hesitate to ask more questions or leave more feedback.

Hi Surtur,
are the linux installers updated as well? Because it seems like the classic installer and the new installer is the same for linux.

Surtur: Hi guys,

Any detailed feedback on the launcher would be most welcome, especially for those who say jt is crashing.

As for the download link, we will check with our GoG rep.

Only feedback about the launcher is that very overly loud click noise that sounds when you launch the game. Silence would be fine since it is a launcher (or a sound clip from the game maybe, like from the intro the "You have come too late" or something). Anything but that loud click as with headphones on it is very loud.

Also, please create a proper "Support" subforum on Steam instead of just a general forum and trade... please... :)

*Edit* I found the toggle for the sound in the menu, however I still think by default it shouldn't be there, it is just too sharp and loud
