It seems to me that the difficulty of this game is somewhat unbalanced. I often run into enemies that I just flat-out cannot kill.
The safest (and least frustrating) way to play seems to be to save the game with each 10 steps you take, and each battle you fight.
The story seems rather disjointed, and there doesn't seem to be any system to prevent you from accepting a quest long before you are strong enough to complete it. I have about 14 quests going now, and as a result, I'm rather confused.
The control scheme also seems very awkward, especially in combat.
All in all, I'd say this game has a lot of potential, but falls through on too many points for it to be truly enjoyable.
