TheEnigmaticT: Our master build is now updated to 1.1.4. Please redownload the game from your shelf and have fun!
Firek: To update the game, you need to uninstall, then reinstall it. Choosing to keep your save files might be a good idea, too. ;)

ERISS: Same bug. the game does not launch for DirectX reason...
I did uninstall before installing with the new build.
Apparently, renaming D3DX9_43.dll solves this.

rename to D3DX9_43.dll.bak solved it for me. Thanks for the hint!
I don't know if D3DX9_43.dll is actually used or not. But I noticed that the D3DX9_43.dll in Wndows/system32 was a smaller file size(1,952kb) vs the GOG (2,345kb)one so I copy and pasted the smaller file to Legend of Grimlock folder and all is good. Running on XP.

Instead of copying, I removed/renamed the D3DX9_43.dll in the Legend of Grimrock folder.
That seems to work for me on my GF's laptop (vista)

dredhammer: I dont see any update on my shelf for the game either theres no info in the gog downloader about an update either.
Same here, I don't see this download, where do I get it from?
Where is this downloadable from? All I see is 1.0.0.12!

"- pressing ESC closes character sheet "

Best fix ever! :)
So rather than install a title update, I download the whole installation file over again?
The setup file I just now downloaded says version 1.0.0.12. But the ingame build number says 1.1.4, so I guess everything's in order.

Wow!!!!
Downloaded version 1.0.0.12, but in game version 1.1.3... still...
If you had a previous installation, try uninstalling it manually before installing the latest version.
D3DX9_43.dll.bak Worked for me too!

Before uninstalling, how do I back up my save game?

Your saves should be in:

Documents \ Almost Human \ Legend of Grimrock
why my version on gog.com is still "1.0.0.13" ? how can I download new 1.1.4 version ?

1.0.0.13 is GOG's internal version. The game should be at 1.1.4
