Our master build is now updated to 1.1.4. Please redownload the game from your shelf and have fun!

Firek: To update the game, you need to uninstall, then reinstall it. Choosing to keep your save files might be a good idea, too. ;)
This is necessary because our installers don't replace files by default, since many old games keep save games stashed in weird places and an "update" might end up wiping something valuable.

1.0.0.8 is just our internal build number, not the actual game version.
ah right, jus had to check since i still had the old installer and ithad the same name etc ;)
The installer is bugged. There is an error caused by D3DX9_43.dll file, when running the game:

You guys might want to check the GoG installation, seems like a file called D3DX9_43.dll gets installed by the installer but the game doesn't run with it.

If that happens people need to remove/rename the file in the game folder.
The entire installer-file seems to be missing large chunks of data. The old download was some 440MB, the new one just 334MB and somehow I doubt you just used a so much more improved compression for it now.

Yep, thanks. Just renamed it and I have no problems.

Yes, removing it is good too.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PATCH.

Apparently the problem is on GOG's end. GOG's installer has a bug that is preventing a successful patch.

Dev response at the game's official forum:

Should we still take a holding pattern on downloading the updated installer? I saw the official comment over on the Grimrock forums. It is 10 PM pacific time.
Thanks for any heads up.

Patched it, it ran perfectly on a Win7-64 computer. Just had to uninstall the previous version first.

Keiyan, yeah ! Quick save !
