LaithArkham: I don't have the GOG version (found a DRM-free disc version in a local bookstore for $5) but I've been playing the AP campaign in KB:Crossworlds.
Never played turn-based tactical games of this sort before. I am rather enjoying it.
Do you mean "only need the disc to play DRM-free" or "I just copy the files from the disc onto my hdd DRM-free"?

More the latter. Don't need to copy anything; it's just install from the disc normally and then it runs whenever you want, without anything in the drive or any additional copying from the disc.

I picked up a little while back in one of GOG's bundle deals. I have been enjoying it.
