The good news is that there isn't really any need to be frustrated as there are download links at the top of this thread for obtaining the patch. It's just a pity that GOG has failed to make the patch, which they've had in their possession for nearly a month now, available to their customers.

I also feel like I should clarify one thing - it's not up to GOG to prepare the patch/build, we are not the rights holder and we shouldn't be applying changes to existing builds without developer's permission.
Of course whenever resources are tight on developer's end we are willing to help with deploying the updated files.

Side note: This whole situation showed once more that contacting the GOG support is a waste of time. Those people are not willing to give you any helpful answers these days.

I do hope to see some improvement in the quality of service. It was OK in the past, so whatever was being done then should still be done now.

As for the GOG support remark - I truly believe that there are many gamers who they helped, and without them we wouldn't be able to address this issue.

Why was "We don't have the files yet" not the answer right away Instead of "Unfortunately, we mustn't comment on the progress of this update..." when people contacted the GOG support?
inox: As for the GOG support remark - I truly believe that there are many gamers who they helped, and without them we wouldn't be able to address this issue. Back in the past maybe but right now you can see the answers you'll get in some of the earlier posts.
I'm not yelling at you specificly. I'm yelling because this whole fucked up situation could have been easily settled weeks ago if there was some faster and also more honest communication between the GOG support and their customers. Next time just tell people the devs have not send the files and everybody will understand what's going on. I don't see a problem in doing this. If this is for whatever a problem then the current gaming industry clearly has some big issues that need to be eliminated.

The first ticket that you quoted in this thread has bad choice of words I'll admit – English is often not our native language, which sometimes may result in such tickets, sorry about that.
That aside, it's worth pointing out that GOG Support is oftentimes not at liberty to comment on various topics. In such cases Support Rep's replies may come off as rather vague. We'll do our best to make sure similar situations to the one in question won't happen in the future, and that our Support's replies are worded better.

Oh one more thing: please give every developer access to GOG Galaxy by default so they are all able to update their games on their own.

The files were submitted to GOG in mid-August. I've seen multiple confirmations of this in both the Steam forums and the Discord customer support forums, so this does not appear to be a case of "the devs didn't provide the files"; not based on the information that I've seen elsewhere anyway.

Only, it doesn't say when they received the files - it just says that they've received them. I'm not totally buying it the way that it might sound in that statement.
