Hi, thank you very much for this guide!

I found a small oversight in the first part (Hildebrand):

SPOILER!

After speaking with Edmond d'Avias for the first time, you can go back speaking with the beggar Flitz. He will ask you 360g for this information. After that you can go speak with Mildred, the soldier in the pub, and get some information about the murder, and imprison him, or asking him for 1000g ( a pretty amount of money in the begining of the game, I didn't try imprison him).

Sorry for my english.

I have a question, if you kill some let's say orcs, will they be permanently dead? Leaving and then later coming to that area will not have them reappear?

Cheers!

I've noticed that the game DOES have some respawns. But it's not so severe, I had to backtrack through the Iron Mines a couple of times while I was clearing it and, while the entire orc packs I killed didn't respawn, there are a few orc warriors here and there that pop up once you're gone from specific rooms for a bit.

Nothing more difficult than what was already there, though.
That's acceptable. Cheers. :)

That's already in the guide and the soldier's name is Millward.

Some enemies respawn some don't. When you clear an area, only about 20% monsters will respawn so it's not really an issue.
If I raise a skill to 20, will the engine count if you use +(that skill) equipment? Or it'll still count it as 20?

Cheers!

As far as I know, you cannot surpass 20 even with +skill items. Also, raising skills to 20 is a waste of skill points. It's better to get them to about 16 and then get +4 from equipment.
I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

EDIT: Another question. What about attributes? They can't go over max, too?

They can if you use miraculous elixir after reaching the cap.

Thanks. Have you considered uploading to GameFaqs? It may be incomplete, but it's still very useful.

Personally I think there's some serious balancing issues between difficulty levels, as the key to survival seems to have a lot to do with various magical & elemental resistances - and the weapons/armor you get vary between difficulty levels (ie, it seems backwards, as you get more helpful items the harder the game setting is).

I saw a post on the Czech official website a few years ago when the dev was saying this was as intended.

BTW: I just want to say that you did a great job with the Bestiary and the Guide!

Thanks, I don't think bestiary needs any more updates. It's handy on lower levels so you can accordingly prepare but on later levels, when you get some nice relics, you will more or less plow through the enemies without using any complicated tactics.
