Both files are work in progress and the guide is paladin oriented but most of the information applies to all classes. Hope it helps.

Great. Now I can forget about enemy estimate skill :))
I updated both files with Asherbalt, mining village cemetery and the outdoors of the iron mines. I also reformatted the bestiary.

Does anyone have any idea how to complete ogre Fathor's quest? This is the only mystery I cannot solve for now.

Here's a writeup I did when I first played the game, there might be some tips you can use for the guide:

Thanks but as far as combat goes, I pretty much already obliterate anything on my path without any special tactics. There were only two fights where I had to use a bunch of potions: Herbertius and undead barbarians. I really don't know why people are having so much problems with the difficulty. Here's my current char for the reference (the damage is actually the double of the shown value as I have the +100% damage to enemies bastard sword).

Yes, the guide and bestiary are also based on hard difficulty as noted right at the beginning :)

Ah, well good job figuring out the mechanics then, and -1 for my reading comprehension :)

Heh, thanks, I actually read your hard difficulty writing before. I took from it the info about skill points from box genies. Before that I didn't know you could get anything else other than some crap item...

I'm glad I could be of some help. I had a lot of fun figuring this game out, since there were no walkthroughs to be found on the net I had to do it all from scratch. Yours will probably be the first, how cool is that?

I don't know if I'll finish it :/
I'm disappointed that after Hillsbradt, every other location consists only of fighting which is this game's weakest point...
It would be perfect if at least 1/3 of locations was dialog oriented. I'm quite bored of combat by now, especially since I'm playing a paladin who is basically an autoattacker.

Haha! I was dying to criticize the game but I didn't want to rain on your parade! Inquisitor is one of the very, very few games that I played 3/4 of the way through and then dropped it with NO desire to ever pick it back up again - the combat is excruciating, the story is repetitive and dull and the good parts of the game just aren't enough to prop up the whole. There is a good game in there somewhere, but it's hidden under the heaps of things the game does wrong.
I actually enjoy the story and dialogs very much, It just pains me that you leave Hillbrandt and the game is suddenly a hack'n'slash. As for the combat, it's pretty "meh". I played rpgs with a lot better and a lot worse combat. IMO the main problem is that it just isn't good enough to make up most of the game's content.

The most probable scenario is that I'll finish everything in act I, then I'll make a clean save just at the start of act II and I'll do a little break from the Inquisitor :)

Agreed...Act I was by far the best...minus the whole iron mine experience haha! I to enjoyed the story and dialogs within in. Would definitely have loved to see more dialog oriented missions, sleuthing around, and just basically detective kinda missions. I couldn't finish the game fast enough...like you mentioned the last 2/3's consisted of clearing dungeon after dungeon...it was excruciating and boring...I struck through with it to see how it all went down though. Enjoyed it and hated it...but not something I see myself playing through again...all those dungeons? Uh no thanks!

Like someone wrote in the other topic, this game is a perfect example of the Stockholm syndrome ;)

Also a minor update to the guide: added first and half of the second floor of the iron mines and very meta solution to the Fathor's quest.

EDIT: Update 3 (updated iron mines and bestiary)
