Nobody knows, today I recieved this answer from support team.

Unfortunately, that's the only achievement that doesn't work properly, we are aware of that however at this moment we are unable to fix it.

Noooo!
I came here right to ask if this achievement was bugged, because I wanted to finally play Homeworld.
So it's officially bugged, I will try to contact the support to see if they can finally correct it.

Yes, I contacted the GOG support and they told me that they know about the bug but they can't fix it at the moment and they have made it "hidden". I think the only way is to try to contact the publishers and the developers, but they never answered to my emails.

Tomorrow will be one year anniversary since the OP posted this.

I went through the game and finished it couple of minutes ago (felt great to replay it after all those years!). However this one cheevo is the only one that doesn't work. I really don't know how exactly it differs from steam, but I would guess the trigger/call doesn't work in the classic version for some reason with the galaxy api, although the overlay itself works.

I hope someone would either fix it, or if it's hard/impossible to do so and it's to remain unobtainable, just remove it completelly as others have suggested. Imo no point to keep it in the system if it's broken like this.

One year later and still no solution for GOG players to get that "100%". Not really surprised.

May be if Homeworld was a Borderlands game, things would be fixed by now.

All you need to do is starting the tutorial and play it trough from start to finish, executing each order and eliminating all practice targets.

Are you sure? It's still at 0.0%, no one have it. I've completed all tutorials from scratch for remastered, classic 1 and classic 2 and still get nothing.

Yeah, for this achievement you must complete "Homeworld 2 Remastered tutorial missions", which is almost identical to HW2 classic tutorial for "Graduated Cadet School" achievement . Kinda strange.

Just played through the entire HW1 & 2 and can comfirm only the "Graduated Command School" for HW2 is unlocking but not the "Graduated Cadet School" from HW1, even though I've play through both tutorials a couple of times, still no dice. Now my unlock progress is stuck frustratingly at 97% because of this one bugged out, and it appears not even a single ppl who own the game have gotten the "Graduated Cadet School" unlocked either.. Two suggestions for the gog support to either:

1: fix the bug!
2: remove this achievement so players can get 100%

Sadly as of this day it only serves as an evidence for the gog's work priority since there is STILL no fix 2 years later from the first post.

It was on June 12 2017 when I contacted GOG support. I get my first answer on July 18 and second (final one) on July 24. They confirmed that achievement can't be unlocked and they contacted the game dev for bug fix. I think after that they just hidden it, I guess untill it would be fixed.
