I instaled only vcredist_x64 2013. Working.
OK, any new ideas would be welcomed at this point. What I did thus far:
- installed all the Visual C++ libraries recommended
- reinstalled Direct X to be sure
- Dependencies doesn't seem to indicate anything missing
- tried all the compatibility settings
- ran the game as admin with all possible setting enabled
- ran the game with the anti-virus off and my firewall off as well

Nothing seems to work, and I'm kinda out of ideas. Key specs: Win10(64), GTX 1080, i5 8400k
Hey everybody - just got this working on win10 with pretty new hardware. I had to use the offline installer, make a short cut from the actual app and launch it without using GOG at all. This was a massive rabbit hole for me. But hey, I avoided giving steam money for a “license” so, win.

I don’t think this mattered but fwiw- I also installed all VC++ 64 bit from 2010 to current, and after that I uninstalled and reinstalled GOG bc I was getting errors after installing and uninstalling some 32 bit VC (I think 2012)

Can’t post the link for VC, but it’s easy to search. It’s the learn.microsoft website

I’m pretty sure the issue is with GOG overlay, but I’m barely literate about this stuff. I read all the forums that I could find back to 2016 and have been messing around with this for quite awhile. It’s possible some of my earlier attempts just ended working but it would be a word wall to recount it all and I’m not sure I understand everything I did.
