Hello,

Any news regarding the reward and when/how it will be made available?

Side note for those over-complaining about the bot system, please note that the purpose of such systems is to free the support team from the most obvious issues leaving more resources available for issues actually requiring human intervention. If the system can't help you, you'll still be proposed to open a ticket for support.

So now I have DLC for Hard West 2 sitting on my Library shelf, even though I don't own Hard West 2, and I can't HIDE it since it's DLC. But apparently it's a DLC for Hard West 2 given out to people who own Hard West 1, I say own, because I have Hard West 1, which I got in GOG's 2017 winter sale for FREE, since I bought £15 worth of other games? (I think)
"DISCOUNT – A3VD - WINTER SALE 2017 - 15 USD GOAL - HARD WEST £ 14.99"
Never played Hard West 1 since getting it, even though it's installed via the offline installer.
I mean couldn't you check who has both Hard West 1, and has bought Hard West 2, and just give the DLC to the people who own both HW1 and HW2, since it's useless to people who ONLY have HW1.

essentially this.

Pretty agressive marketing IMHO as I don't own Hard West 2 and have no interest in it.

The Faithful Outlaw Reward-DLC will be granted automatically for every owner of the first Hard West game. However, I have forwarded the information to appropriate team in order to resolve, unfortunately I am unable to provide you any ETA about when the issue will be resolved.

Thank you for the gesture. I know some members of the community strongly opposed it, and said DLC has now been removed due to their one-sided feedback, but I want to let you know that some of us appreciate the DLC and wish it returned in some form, maybe a Serial key placed in the original game's section.

I'm confused by this thread.

So what happens to people who had the DLC before?

When they removed the DLC item, did they also integrate the DLC item into the standard offline installers for Hard West 2?

Or, did they just remove the DLC item and now no one can have access to it any more?

They did not integrate it, they just yanked it and that was it. It took several weeks, but support returned it to me eventually. It's still a separate DLC with its own DLC installer. I supplied the uncalled for refund order ID as evidence. You will almost certainly have to own the base game in order to redeem it though, which I did own at the time.
