MaceyNeil: I've had LAN work at a mates house. He uses STEAM version of Grim Dawn.
We had initial difficulty with him hosting, but none with me hosting and i believe ti came down to the stupid firewall exception list popup... not popping up over the game to tell me it needed an exclusion.
So it does work, it does work cross play through LAN with same version, but i have yet to see it work on hamachi (it shows on hamachi [in LAN server list] but i cannot launch into the LAN game with my second PC).

tx3000: Sorry I'm going to call you out on that one because I have the same set up as you list, Hamachi and Steam version and GOG version not using Galaxy and the LAN option has never worked never mind once or twice in the past.

Neither version on either computer allows LAN to work no matter who hosts.
Next time i am over his house playing grim dawn i will take a picture using my galaxy note of both computers with both characters on screen on both computers and post them on the GOG Grim Dawn forum for you.
I will also get a clear statement at the time from him that i will write onto the picture (using the nifty stylus) where his Grim Dawn installer originates from & add mine over my computer at the same time; thus complying with report standards in a manner good enough for the legal profession & great honour of acquiescing to your will oh great overlord.

Or i may just not give a fuck what you think.

LAN doesn't work for more than two people, so you have to play over the internet until that is fixed.
These threads no longer exist. I'm guessing this means they will never be fixing the issue and are working to hide any complaints they can.
