Thankfully, I've dutifully prepared for the inevitability of a gong update.
There's the oft mentioned Playnite
Pegasus, a rather up and coming frontend.
And for those of us on Linux, there's a few choices more.
Such as Gamehub, a fairly new launcher.
Minigalaxy, a community oriented GOG specific launcher...
And of course, The lovely otter themed launcher.. Recently gained multiple game import, too.
These aren't alternate stores. They're just alternate frontends. You don't really need them (or Galaxy) but I thought I'd come by and offer these options anyway, if you're frustrated at the codebase that Galaxy is, since it is a broken piece of closed source software.
