Been playing it with my 14 yo niece, she is a huuuge fan.. And I quite like it as an intro to turn based RPG's.

Is that really fun? I've been on the fence with it since it's release. You said you play it with your niece, do you think that's why you enjoy it so much? By that I mean do you think her getting a huge kick out of it helps you enjoy it more?

I'm an old geezer about RPG's already lol, born in 1979.. So yes, by myself I would not have enjoy it much I believe, as it is has very, very light RPG features.

But if you have children around, or want to feed your inner child, Costume Quest is really fun yes, a perfect Halloween little candy. Cartoony, colorful, easy to manage the inventory and powers, small areas to explore, a short game of a few hours long.. :)
