I remember staying up until around midnight wanting to watch this on Cartoon Network on Saturdays. Didn't always make it, but I did sometimes and I loved watching it. (Still do, oddly enough.) Thanks for the giveaway mate.

Edit: Anyone have some favorite episodes? Mine are "Cobra Stops the World" and "The Funhouse." Favorite one of the old comics would be the first, because that is one of the two I own. I have more 'NAM comics than GI Joe, but what I have of GI Joe is really cool stuff.

I dont know other things,but one thing i remember is the word " I hate sunlight" from one of the bad guys which I kind of having fun repeating it after watching the show until my brother annoyed and shout "fuck you no sunlight now at night".. haha

I'm fond of 80s stuff, and I'd love to be in please. Although my only exposure to G.I. Joe has been looking at the action figures on the net (action figures are always fun). I can imagine that the toy line was fun to get into 30 years ago.

I was really a lot more into the toys than the TV show as well.

So when I'm asking for my favourite G.I Joe characters, they don’t have to be from the TV show, they could be from the comics or the toy figures themselves :).

I don't remember the TV show that clearly to remember specific episodes (although I did watch it). I agree the comics issue #1 was good, also #2 was good too. I also remember I really enjoyed #21 (the 'silent issue').
