Oh what a happy day, I was digging through some packing crates (yeah I know not smart when I'm sick) and I located my copy of Doom 3!!!! I am so happy, fortunately unlike my poor copy of SS2, my ex-roommate didn't get a chance to swipe this one too. ^_^ I just wanted to make a post and let everyone in on the sight bit of good news. Now, I can give those sweet sweet mods a go. :)
Ehhh.. We're happy for you, I guesse ??
Grats, between that and the NOLF discussion, though, I'll be looking for my NOLF CDs instead;)
well found, I am very pleased for you :)
:P Thanks all, I was just really bothered because an ex-roommate, when I stopped sharing a house with them, swiped a few of my things (cds, games, movies, etc...) and I was starting to think he got that too. I know it's a small victory, but for me it's a nice bit of good news to find out I still at least have it... :)
Hey. I'm happy for you. It's always exciting to find something you thought may have been thrown away or lost a long time ago. I recently had something like that happen myself.

If it makes you feel any better I can give you a list of the stuff my ex-wife swiped (after I'd given her almost all the furniture and assorted crap)... People act like entitled douches at times, the sad thing is, it seems like even relatively decent people occasionally fall into this.

Somebody stole your copy of SS2?
And he's still alive?

:/
I had hoped for a more obscure and interesting title..what a disappointment. :(
J/k

That's nice I guess altough I would rather have found a working copy of SS2 and broke the Doom 3 on purpose but that may be just me. :P

Ouch, sorry to hear man. Yeah I agree with you on that, I mean if he wanted some of the stuff and just asked I probably would have probably given him at least one or two things. I really don't understand why people can't just ask; there is no harm if you want something at least seeing if someone would part with an item in their possession.
That like when I found my Duke Nukem 3D CD in summer.
Same feeling i had when i lost weight and was able to look down without my belly in the way.
It's like when I found this pizza slice under the sofa... And I was craving for a peperroni pizza slice !

Mmm...Pizza, I could sure go for a slice of Twigg's flat crust pizza.
So much DOOM3 love lately...

Did I slip into the twilight zone? :/
