It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I searched, I googled, I can't find this being discussed.

When I click on a christmas promo, it shows a list of games. Each game has a checkbox next to it. If I click on the checkboxes... NOTHING HAPPENS.

This is not how UIs work. A checkbox clearly indicates that an item is selectable, can be toggled. If an item can't be toggled at the moment, the old-fashioned way is to show a so-called "locked" checkbox. The modern way is to make the item a visual slave to the item that mandates it in a tree-like fashion. If an item can *never* be toggled, then don't show any ui elements at all, just present the list.

Just showing it as a checkbox that does nothing when clicked is just a fail way.

I understand that this deal you want to present as an entire package. That doesn't mean the UI is in a good state though. Please make it render in a sensible way for this case if you plan to use it again.

Not everyone will care, but this stuff is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Well they did try combo boxes, but it didn't work out.
If you're talking about Bullet Heaven, I can check and uncheck any of the boxes. I get 75% off regardless of which games I select, and the price at right adjusts accordingly.

If you're talking about Run, Jump, and Fight, again, all the checkboxes work. When all games are selected, I get 66% off, and the price adjusts. When less than all games are selected, I get 50% off, and again, the price is adjusted.

I'm using Firefox.
With Opera on Android I get no check boxes at all.
On that note, why do they call them apartments if they're all jammed together?

And why are there locks on the doors at the 7-11?

And why do they call them buildings when they're finished?

And is that crosswalk button actually connected to ANYTHING!?!?!
The checkboxes work for me too. What deal are you looking at and are you sure *nothing* is happening?

Using Chrome.

It must be your browser acting up. They work fine for me in Firefox.

They calls 'em flats. Cos they is flat as a pancake.

tinyE: And why are there locks on the doors at the 7-11?
Why do numbers have doors in the first place?

tinyE: And why do they call them buildings when they're finished?
They never finish 'em round 'ere.

When I'm walking all cross like and someone pushes my buttons, you'd better believe they are connected to something....
Are you by any chance using the HTTPS Everywhere add-on with the GOG Ruleset?
If yes, the checkboxes are unclickable when you connect to (https://) secure.gog.com/promo/name_of_promo.

You have to disable the add-on on GOG or temporarily remove the Ruleset.
That way you'll be able to connect to (http://) www.gog.com/promo/name_of_promo - and then the checkboxes will work properly.

If you don't use the add-on on GOG, I have no idea why the checkboxes don't work for you.

EDIT: fixed tags

1) 'Cause they keep you apart. Seriously, when was the last time you hung out with any of your so-called neighbors?

2) For lockdown in case of a robbery, gas leak, power failure, etc.

3) I like this one. From now on, let's call them "builts".

4) I'd tell you, but then I'd have to mindwipe you. Or maybe, just maybe, I already have.

Now here are a few more for you:

Why do we drive on parkways and park in driveways?

If it goes by ship, it's cargo; but if it goes by car, it's a shipment?

Whatever happened to all the B batteries?

And do we even want to know what the problems were with Preparations A thru G?

I do not know about America, but here in the UK they are connected - but, and it is a big butt.
Depending on both where you are and what the time is, they may or may not actually be working. In busy areas at busy times, to allow the traffic to flow more efficiently the buttons are only used to decorate the poles as the stops in the traffic are predetermined. This is done to allow a constant flow of traffic without too much build up, as people will only be waiting at the side of the road for ~70 seconds before they can walk across the road. As one light goes red it allows the other side to flow without interruption. The pedestrians do not notice enmass, and the drivers are none the wiser too.
Today, they work fine in firefox.
Yesterday they did not.

Dunno, GOG in general has been acting up. Ignore, move along.

Oh, no HypersomniacLive identified it. It's gog's buggy and wrong implementation of https, as always.
