There are some shows I like to watch now and then, usually dealing with ghost and aliens and stuff like that, but other than that, not much. I do tend to keep the tv on as background noise most of the time, but there's not much that interests me. To me it seems like the shows have really gotten bad at just being carbon copies of each other.

If you had ask me about 10-15 years ago if there's a day that I would stop watching TV completely, I'd told you that you're crazy.

But with technology evolve so much over the years, TV seems to be bit of an afterthought to me now.

Coelocanth, I'm happy to hear that we're in similar situation. Sure, we may be behind the times when it comes to what we're watching but as long it is good enough to entertaining us, isn't that enough?

I recently bought Game of Thrones DVD and I truly enjoy it a lot. I don't really care if I'm behind but I just like it, that's all.

timppu, I've been using Netflix since '04 and I'm happy with it. Currently, I'm only paying for their streaming service, which run me approximately 8 bucks a month. I think that's helluva deal but that's my opinion. I just finished The Tudors S1 and S2 and White Collar S3 with few occasional Asian movies thrown in.

TV is horrendous these days, any decent show you can just watch on the internet, the rest(here in the UK) is just shitty reality TV.

So yeh i havent watched TV properly in nearly a decade.

I don't have a TV myself, but whenever I visit my parents I enjoy watching a bit of TV. I usually enjoy the local channel TV2 Zulu the most because it actually has some original shows that aren't just re-runs and generic sit-coms (it has those as well, but mostly in the morning). Other than that I don't watch much TV.

I watch quite a few american/uk tv shows though. But not on tv, if you know what I mean...
