Not necessarily for the box art, but more for the fact that they tried to make Bomberman serious...and failed.

What on earth was wrong with Rocket Ranger? It looked exactly like what it was supposed to which was a 1930's-40's Flash Gordon/Rocketman serial.

Oh nothing wrong with the idea. But the execution? I particularly like the "perverted mad female scientist ogling young lady's butt" (and with the text saying it's her mother no less), and the "young nazi soldier ogling same lady's breasts" parts ;) Each part of the image in itself is just fine - it's just positioned rather unfortunately IMO ^^ But some of the others are a lot more fun.
