Would be good to tell us what kind of game you want. RPG? Then go for Arcanum. Or Arx Fatalis, as this never gets discounted. Or Original War which is a strategy that will be removed from the GOG catalog in 22 June.

I think I want to stay away from RPGs because there are a ton that I have but haven't played.

How about a strategy like Original War? This game will be removed from GOG's catalog in 5 days.
