Arakion achieved its 25k goal with 4 days to go.
UPDATES!

Arakion: Stretch goals made cheaper, new class, announced 2-3 updates per day for rest of KS. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lavidimus/chris-taylors-arakion/posts/320514?ref=activity
Project Eternity: Music. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity/posts/320485?ref=email&show_token=bdd1bbaa54474136
This change in Arakion stretch goals is interesting, the first one at least is achievable now if the current pledge rates continues until the end of the kickstarter.

And the music for PE is very good.

Wake me up when they have the spiritual Banjo-Kazooie sequel up on Kickstarter or smth
True to his word, Chris has started updating Arakion rapidly. New update details the new Seeker class: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lavidimus/chris-taylors-arakion/posts/320809?ref=email&show_token=644ddad6bf28426d

Can't say I like the seeker's armour much (that belt looks awkward), but I like what I'm seeing from the update. I hope there will be more diversity to the skills though.

$ 1 Mio. for pure funding? Hmmm, I don't know. This seems like a really tall order, industry veterans or not. >_>

They better start getting some media coverage soon to get this off the ground.

Oh, that Tom Hall. I'm tempted to back it without anymore information.

That has to be a typo with the early bird limit. 15,000 people? Or perhaps optimistic, Wasteland 2 did have 61k backers.

Especially if they manage to work Dopefish in there somehow.

I think they will manage to 15k, maybe not in the first weeks, but just by strength of names and backing (read exposure) they will get I do not think it is a implausible target.

It's definitely possible, but it seems like a rather large number for a early bird special. That would be like 25% of the Wasteland 2 orders. Or half the Shadowrun Returns backers. Which seems like an awfully large proportion of the potential backers.
Should I be worried because John Romero is member of the developer studio?

Only if you mind being his bitch.

Guess they were expecting the same public from Project Eternity. But the idea look interesting, will follow this sometime before deciding to pledge.

Hey, I just wanted to stop in here and say thanks again to gog. The support and enthusiasm shown by you guys has been amazing and it has been a huge boon for the game. In regards to your concern about the armour, I finished work (regular job) really late last night and was unable to fully realize the concept that I wanted in the short time before the update. While the class is beginning to be implemented into the game, I haven't started 3D work on the seeker yet. If you have any ideas in regards to skills for the seeker, be sure to let me know!

If you guys have any questions just let me know and I'll answer them as quickly as I can. There should be an update up within an hour or two.
