P1na: How is a game like Torchlight related to Planescape: torment?

Genres are broad. Very, very broad.
To be fair, those are both RPG games. But it's just really strange that GOG still doesn't have a stand-alone FPS category. It would make searching for FPS games much easier.
If you want to see second-person perspective, just play Signal Ops, and look at a different monitor than the one that shows the perspective of the character you're controlling.

Zeroth-person perspective would be from the perspective of someone who is not present, so for example, in you play a shooting game with normal controls, except that rather than seeing what's happening to your character, you just see through the eyes of some guy on a couch eating Funyuns, that's zeroth-person.

*spoiler*
Fourth-person perspective is like in Being John Malkovich, when he went through his own tunnel and became everyone.

Fifth-person perspective is when you get to see from the perspective of your half-third-cousin's step-brother-in-law, but not through his eyes, but his right ear instead. But only on Tuesdays. On Thursdays you see inside the glove compartment of Bret Michaels' car (only when it's closed and pitch black inside), and the rest of the time you're looking directly into a solar eclipse!
Lol this is one of those irrelevant gog threads that lead into more replies than needed :p Looks like time is a luxury many gogers have too much of ;)

To be fair, those are both shooter games. It would make searching for the RPGs I actually like if I could filter out those ARPGs.

Once again, genres are broad. There are tons of subgenres, and admitedly FPS is a pretty well established one, but we could argue specific categories to death and not get anywhere.

P1na: We are still on time to change it. It could be a Fast Paced Platformer or a Friendly Playful Post.

Let's take back the acronyms for the working class!
