441635: Didn't know that game, I'd like to see it appearing on GOG. Thanks for posting that link, I just discovered a nice oldie.
No probs. I thought there was a popcorn tycoon game, i couldn't find info for it and found that game. Apparently it was included with a little big adventure retail release according to the wiki page. It's certainly looks like a GOG style old hidden gem.

F4LL0UT: To be honest I support the idea - well, in fact I would just appreciate if distributors had a less strict "no porn" policy. I've seen a few games over the years that are mainly remembered for being porn or hentai but which actually are interesting titles, like Knights of Xentar that you mentioned (although that one isn't even as graphic as some people seem to remember it). Also I remember some live action adventure game which included some softcore porn scenes but which didn't necessarily have a worse production value than many other adventures of that kind - and it certainly wasn't a title that you'd only find in sex shops, I've seen it at regular vendors that offer video games but it still seems too mature for today's major digital distributors. Also Wet - The Sexy Empire and Biing! come to my mind.
Yes. And they could always make certain sections of the site restricted to certain age group if necessary.

GOG please make a GAG! :D

Ghorpm: I would go for DRM-free pizza ;)

JudasIscariot: Oh, good suggestion :D
Guess what! My friend has just invited me for pizza night to celebrate his name day. Funny coincidence, isn't it?

I can confirm that it's on the European LBA2 disc--I found it years ago while nosing around in the game files, looking for the music tracks. According to http://forum.magicball.net/showthread.php?t=6470 it's also sneakily referenced in the game itself, but I haven't been back to check that.
X game in HD.

Just be careful it doesn't use SecurBite

I'm only worried about hard disk overload. I intended to free a few Gigabytes after the Christmas, and I was kinda successful so far but the DRM-free pizza doesn't bode well...

Lol!

Densetsu: Hopefully they make a GAG (Good Adult Games) subsite soon.

I wouldn't mind a few good adult games, like Knights of Xentar. That's one brilliant, hilarious game.

Well Phantasmogoria 2 is here already...

Maybe the 500th will be an unexpectedly recent AAA, a la Assasin's Creed - Fallout 3 or something

Or maybe... dunno... Soldier of Fortune? What's that one doing not on here already anyway? Hmmm.. It's not an expired licensed IP from Soldier of Fortune magazine is it? I didn't know the 2 were connected but thinking about it I suppose they COULD be...

The question is why not a single id Soft or Raven Software game is available on GOG. They are all perfect GOGs (well, everything before Doom 3 that is).

Roman5: It will be Zenimax joining GOG and releasing Arena + Daggerfall for free in a bundle
avatar
Fred_DM: why? the games are already officially freeware.

i figure game #500 is probably an overdue one that GOG has held back for the occasion, like Privateer 2.
Well do you like to enter a code everytime you want to start the game?

Sooo... I feel I've just added 3 Gigabytes... I just hope it's an external drive and can be safely removed tomorrow morning ;)

Privateer 2? Code to start? I don’t understand … I have the full German 3CD version in the original box. One of the really few I have. But on half a dozen tries I was not able to play the game through. Looks like I’m too untalented for dogfights. ;) But, back to topic, there was no code, nothing I remember.

Privateer 2 even runs fine in DOSBox. :)
