Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Hitman, and Thief series and more from Square Enix 60% off.

Here comes the GOG.com [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/square_enix_weekend_promo_28_09_12/]Square Enix Squad! A gallery of characters that shine a bright light in the history of gaming. The beautiful tomb raiding daredevil Lara Croft, the cyborg savior of humanity JC Denton, the king of stealth and thievery Garrett, and the mysterious archmaster of assassination known only as the Agent 47. This amazing ensemble of badasses is here for one reason only: all of their respective games in our catalogue are now discounted by 60% along with many other Square Enix titles until Tuesday, October 2 at 03:59 AM GMT.

Witness the first steps of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider 1+2+3, a bundle that contains the first three games that made her a superstar. Then witness her more obscure, but even more dangerous adventures and witness her younger years in Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation & Chronicles. Finally, follow Lara as she tackles a mysterious cult in Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Be sure not to miss all the action-adventure girl-power goodness!

Dare to venture into the dark dystopian future of Deus Ex and become JC Denton, the hardcore cybernetically enhanced peacekeeper that started to doubt his superior's agenda and stood up to the conspiracy. Then decide the fate of his successor, Alex D, the hero of Deus Ex 2: Invisible War. If you are a cyberpunk fan, a RPG aficionado, or if you simply want to try a different and challenging FPS, make yourself acquainted with the Deus Ex series.

Not all of the Square Enix Squad members enjoy the publicity. Some of them prefer to keep a low profile. Especially Garrett, the master-thief who sneaked into the promo through an unlocked skylight. Many gamers consider his adventures to be the pinnacle of stealth games and its first iteration, adequately titled Thief GOLD, an origin of a whole genre. The GOLD edition contains the original Thief: The Dark Project and an update that enhances the game with three new campaign missions and new enemy types. While you lurk around GOG.com treasury with Garret, be sure to also grab your copies of Thief GOLD and Thief 2: The Metal Age and Thief 3: The Deadly Shadows. At $3.99 each, it's really a steal!

Head out to the promo page and check out all 16 of the great Square Enix games you can get 60% off until Tuesday, October 2 at 03:59 AM GMT.

Pow... right in the wallet. Sad part is, I've been a little lax lately, and I logged on today wonder for a brief moment, "Are there really that many Squeenix games on GOG?"

And then I remembered Eidos. So screw you, GOG. Just talk all my money. Have it. :P
I literally have $4 dollars at my disposal right now. Guess I don't have any excuse not to pick up Anachronox.
I bought the promo only for nostalgia, because these games do not have good bonus (for example the SoundTrack).

Should this be October 2nd?
Of course it should. And believe me: I've corrected this apparent mistake hours ago. Yet somehow the site keeps reverting to the incorrect version. The goddamn code gremlins are particularly mean to us today. Maybe we should start feeding them with irrelevant forum posts, to keep them at bay? :-)
Could someone help with a question regarding Thief.

I think I remember my brother playing Theif where you shot water arrows to put out tourches and moss arrows to soften foot steps all stealth type stuff. But then I watch some youtube videso and your in a huant tower with mad man zombies scary place which I really dont like.

I really dislike scary games.

Are they the same game?

StickOfPlywood: Anachronox, Thief, and Deus Ex! Here's the sale I've been waiting for!
That looks like my list too. I need to limit myself.
This is an amazing promo. And I don't own any of these yet! No way I can afford all of the promo games that made it on my wishlist though.. hm.. priorities.. priorities.

Wow....woke up this morning and got the GOG email and thought now that's another awesome promo.

I know posters have been clamoring for a promo weekend for Thief for a long time, so there ya go.

I own quite a few on disk....will have to ponder if the bonuses are worth getting those again. But even though I have Thief 1 and 2 and Deus Ex, and played the first two Tomb Raiders on the PS1, way back when, I still am tempted. I could gift the Tomb Raiders to my son, perhaps:)

I know I tried Deus Ex on my Win 7 laptop and it didn't work right....wonder if the GOG version would do better.

I've only played Thief 3, and that sounds like the game. Majority of the game is versus humans but at the end you start seeing some monsters and some scary places.

Edit: On the topic, I also picked up the two first Thief games. Although they're a little highly priced considering you can get the trilogy on disc for about 4£ on Amazon, at least I know I can can count on the GOG versions actually working.

Great promo! At first I thought about buying the whole Thief-Series, but then I decided to pick up Thief Gold, Hitman and Tomb Raider 1+2+3 instead to have some more variety.
GOG damnit there goes my food money for the week. Great promo GOG.
What a promo! All on my wishlist save one. My wallet just got smacked hard!
Yet another amazing promo! This site's been on such a roll lately with these so please keep them coming.

All three games are very atmospheric. The first game is fairly creepy at points and the third game has one infamously terrifying level. The second one is less supernatural, so maybe check it out? It's my favorite anyway. :)
You can forget my previous message, I was just a little sad because I bought the promo and when I look, Hitman and Anachronox did not have bonus SoundTrack.

But it is a Good Promo!

PD.

Thief and Deus have Bonus SoundTrack (It's Something)
