1 Weekend Promo, 2 fantastic franchises, 14 classic games, $26.91 for the complete collection, 100s of hours of unforgettable gaming

all games from Wing Commander and Ultima series available on GOG.com are discounted by 50%. You have the chance to buy Wing Commander 4, or Ultima VII: the Complete Edition for only $2.99 until Monday, June 4 11:59 PM EDT.

Ultima is a series of fantasy RPGs created by Richard Garriott (a.k.a. Lord British more) than 30 years ago. The main story of Ultima universe, which takes place in the worlds of Sosaria and, later, Britannia, follows the unnamed protagonist (known only as the Stranger or later as the Avatar, an incarnation of virtue) through three “Ages”: The Age of Darkness (Ultima I-III), The Age of Enlightenment (Ultima IV-VI), and The Age of Armageddon (Ultima VII-IX). It’s one of the most influential RPG series, recognized for open-ended gameplay, in-depth morality system exploring mature themes like racism and xenophobia, and a rich and detailed world. Whether you want to try the original trilogy, visit thousands of colorful places and characters in Ultima 4+5+6, play through Ultima VII: The Complete Edition--arguably the best in series, find your way back home in Ultima VIII: Gold Edition or complete Ultima Underworld 1 and 2, the first first-person RPGs with true 3D environments, all these titles are available for only $2.99 this weekend on GOG.com.

Wing Commander is a series of 3D space combat simulators, described by the games’ creator Chris Roberts as "World War II in space.” In this series, you follow pilots of the Terran Confederation in their fight against the aggressive feline Kilrathi. Introduce yourself to the epic military space conflict in Wing Commander 1+2, play as Col. Christopher "Maverick" Blair (starred by Mark Hamill) and watch amazing FMV cut-scenes in Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger, enjoy fast, action-packed, and varied space combat in the most expensive video game of its era Wing Commander: Privateer.

In addition to that, because the Wing Commander series plays so much better with a joystick, we’ve approached the guys from Logitech and they were kind enough to offer a few awesome Logitech Extreme™ 3D Pro joysticks to our users. Leave a comment below for a chance to win 1 of 3 logitech joysticks. You can also enter a similar joystick-winning contests on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

Become the Ultimate Commander (THE ULTIMMANDER!) and buy the complete collection of EA’s Most Famous Classic Series for only $26.91, this weekend on GOG.com.
Ugh, getting tempted to pick up some older Ultimas, but I have so many RPGs to go through (mostly JRPGs) as-is. However, I could like having a joystick handy, to go with my five-bucks-each gamepads, back from a Rusty Hearts promotion.
Sign me up, I would like a USB joystick.
Sign me up too, I love Wing Commander and played it on a joystick all the time back in the day. Could also use a new one to enjoy X-Wing and TIE Fighter with!
Yes! I was hoping for this promo . Thank you GOG.
There goes $9 or $12. Might as well have the controller of choice then.
Will be adding the missing titles with this sale. Now I will just wait for one of those wonderful and free joysticks to show up too...

FYI:I am also waiting on the LucasArts X-Wing and Tie Fighter series to show up too....
Just a bit of not-so-subliminal messaging! :-)
Man! I can't remember the last time I've used a joystick. That would be fantastic!
Well, let's do this... If I win the joystick, I'll buy the Wing Commander games, although they won't be on sale anymore. It's the right thing to do! :)
wooo free joysticks!
Signing up for joystick!
Well Done GOG. Bought WC 1/2, Ultima Underworld 1/2, Ultima VIII & VIII (despite owning the last two on disc). Been waiting for a promo like this.

Bought WC III and IV at full-price, because they were well worth it! Happy to pick up the remainder of this litter of Origin gems for a song.

Now if only you'd do something about those EA expansion packs....

And Privateer 2! *prays*
The first EA promo, then Commandos, then Tex Murphy, and now this (to say nothing of Colonization and TR1-3). Here, just take all my money and shut up.

Oh, and send me a joystick. Pretty please. :P
Entering for the joystick.

Also, I have a quick question. Generally I like to only play game series in order. I have never played any of the Ultima games, but if I start on Ultima 7, will I be confused and picking up mid-story? Or is it more of a stand alone game, with only small references to the earlier games?
I remember playing NHL '93 with an analogue, five-button Logitech stick. That same stick still stands on my shelf, and it has not stopped working, ever...talk about value for money. Alas, my newer computer lacks the good old game port, it only has these strange UBS or whatever that odd abbreviation was again ports. So, no Wing Commander for me as the only proper way to play it is with a proper joystick :(

OK, so much for sad pleading and flattery. But that stick still is there and it still works, and I would LOVE to have a USB stick too!

Have all of them already, but GOG is doing a pretty damn nice job getting the older games out, something I was scared of when they started adding newer ones.
