Yeah. What I love the most in The Walking Dead tv series it's more focused on characters than on violence and zombies.

Director tries to show how would people behave in order to survive the apocalypse. Pretty amazing. Only the last episode was a little odd, but I think it's quite because the decision to make another season was made rather unexpectedly (popularity of the show was much greater than expected0

That's because the work it's based on (the graphic novels) did exactly the same thing; it's more of a psychological drama than regular zombie flick.

Which isn't to say that the zombie killing scenes aren't awesome when they do happen.
Walking Dead = GODDAMN PHENOMENAL
The first episode was amazing. One of the best pilots I have ever seen. The show gradually got worse for me though; it was fun to watch, but nothing quite lived up to the first episode. I also did not like the fact that deviated from the comics so much. The second season doesn't seem like it will get any better because Frank Darabont has quit citing budget cuts as a huge problem.

Finished watching It today for the first time. It was good but nothing special. Its just more of the same of what we have been getting in a lot zombie movies over the years. Will start watching Supernatural and Mortal Kombat Legacy soon.
I'm also looking forward to season two. The first was quite fun, kind of stupid a lot of the time (ok, most of the time), but still fun and engaging. I hope the survivors smarten up a bit in the second season, though. They don't need to act like idiots ALL the time.

I haven't really noticed them doing anything too stupid, although like I said I've only seen the first 3 episodes so far.

*Spoiler* Oops, do not read my post if you want to be surprised by anything.

I just finished re-watching the whole first season on Netflix to prepare. I enjoyed it much more this time around for some reason. I think the first time I was looking for similarity with the comics and not enjoying it for being something unique.

Then after watching the season 2 trailer with the highway zombies and the end scene with Rick running with Carl to the farm i`m just pumped. Can`t wait until Sunday now.
