The game does not show up in Steam library for some reason.

The store page will confirm that you already own it but it doesn't show up in your list of games.

I spoke to another person with the same issue.

Figured it worth mentioning in case anyone trades for a gift-able and runs back to the trader panicking.
That's some foul play on their part!

Don't worry. This is fairly normal. A lot of pre-order games don't show up until release.
Case in point: Outlast didn't and I don't see Takedown: Red Sabre in my library.

Thanks for the insight. Just hoping this isn't a 'Region-Lock' thing.

I can confirm this, had it happen with some preorders as well.

That would only be a possible issue if you either traded for it or bought it retail somewhere and then activated it. Given your OP I'm assuming you traded for it.

Is this a case of trying to circumvent any AU censoring you're already aware of? (not sure if it applies where you are but I remember seeing someone say they had AU pricing there)

Hey looks like you found GOG forums. Head over to https://support.steampowered.com/ to file a Steam support ticket.

Have a great day!
Had the same with my Volgarr the Viking Steam key when I bought the game from the dev. Activated, apparently wasn't available yet so I just downloaded the DRM-free version and played that. Simples.

I know you're not in AU but I've seen NZ's complain they had AU prices i think, for all I know they're considered the same Region as far as Steam is concerned.

Given that's not the case though I doubt there's anything to worry about. Probably just another preorder that doesn't show till it's out.

Did this before I posted here.

And this is an 'Alert' - Not a request for help from a handful of people who probably have not even noticed the game listed yet.

It's hard to say. They've started actually placing Region Lock warnings on some Russian items. Going by several others here saying that pre-orders sometimes do not add to library right away, I'm guessing that's the issue.

This happened with Poker Night 2 for me. It didn't show up for me until release, but plenty of people did have it show up right away when they pre-ordered it.

Everyone got it when you could actually play it, so doesn't matter much.
Ok, so the game has been released

Still working with Steam support -- started the ticket two or three days ago.

Can not install from Play Now on store page

Can not access the game's forum

The game is showing under my account profile for legitimately received games.

I have over 900 games with Steam

I've been with Steam since 2010

Why can't they just manually add the game to my library instead of going through all of this?

WTF is the point of pre-ordering??
Have you tried restarting Steam?
