The Kickstarter has made it past $400,000 now. They need another $100,000 with just under 4 days left. It really looks like they're going to make it now, which is great. The last four days have been very strong.

It does sound a lot like him, could be a very good impersonator of course.
But he has done quite a few weird things for laughs, such as this so it could be him.

Chris Pope did a live interview with Ken Williams (AKA Founder of Sierra On-Line and Mr. Roberta Williams :P) Well worth the listen.
