Roman5: Congratulations, now you know how I feel
Let this be a lesson to him.
I rarely notice any real insulting, but I do notice a lot of down reps as the result of "perceived" belligerence.

A good example would be between Fenixp and Elenarie on the front page.

I know neither very well, but they both go back together a long time, and are joking in their way with each other. Their joking, not understood, gave down reps.

Fenixp is straight up, as he gave me crap for getting out of line (we all walk the dark side at times) for jumping on someone attacking Sachys. He didn't know perhaps, but was totally well received and respected by me for doing so.

None of us are perfect, we all will disagree at times, and we all make mistakes at times.

No need for all of the down reps, not that they are important, but it is very hard to know when they are actually deserved, and when they are not.
Hey man its the internet...

Elenarie: The first being that Steam "community", the second being this place. And no, giveaways != good community. That thing died years ago.
I just love it when older members of a community than I say that the community hasn't been good since long before I joined. I just friggin' love it!

I keep wondering the same thing. Whenever I see his posts it's just regular or fun stuff but also his rep is lower each time. It's quite a mystery. It's as if the moment I turn around he started pissing on people's faces or something and then zipped up just in time whenever he'd hear me coming.

I noticed that everytime there is a sale, I get low rated and lose some points. I was at 591.

The question is: what do you do during sales? I mean, there has to be some explanation for such a correlation if there is one.

Well it started with my Netflix thread, asking why are they missing some important movies on the streaming part.

Than me in this thread replying to Velvet:

Though I desvered it.

And I think the Hobbit thread got down rated.

All during the sale.

Elmofongo: All during the sale.
I see. You should move all your forum activity to times when there's no sale going on. Correlation eliminated.
Serious question: is your native language English or Spanish? I ask because I get the feeling you're thinking in Spanish sometimes and don't quite know how to bring across a point in English. That post that you linked to, for example, just seemed completely off the beaten track...

I think some people may be a little annoyed with you posting a "So I went to see..." thread everytime you go to a movie theater. I'm a bit of a cineaste myself so I don't have any problem with them whatsoever (I do like discussions about films), but I have to admit that they've become very routine with you.

Downvoting is a little harsh though.

My life story:

OK I was born here in this island Nov. 4, 1992 and I am born to Puerto Rican families, but sometime in 1994 I think when I was a toddler my mother decided to join the U.S. Army for some reason (she never went to any conflicts mind you) and she decided to bring me and my brother along and we were living in Fort Bragg. I remember being in Army sanctioned Kindergarden so thats I learned english and have an American accent. Than in 1997-8 my mother took me with her again to Missouri for more Army related things and ever since my English Flourished while my Spanish diminished and it did not help that when I was a kid I was shall we say, Patriotic, to the United States of America, and thank goodness I grew out of it or else I would been a very different person today. And also the fact that my Mother is Nuyorican:

And well here I am now, understanding english suffering the concequences for living in a mostly spanish talking island.

you should really think about starting a blog , i am not saying its a bad thing to share everything you experience but you have to understand that when there is no sub forums whatsoever here and making a thread frequently for one liner experience such as "went to movie , finished game etc" might be putting people off...

how about making on mega thread for yourself and start posting in it ? if not carry on creating threads and dont worry about the rep
