Lots of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to GOG.com, DRM-free in 2014. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of distributing this title, as we believe that CD Projekt RED is about to make history with this one. A vast and detailed open world, dark and rich atmosphere, dynamic tactical combat, and excellent mature writing the series is well known for--everything about it sounds simply perfect. Understandably, every RPG fan is getting more and more anxious to play the third Witcher game, us included! Alas, just like everyone else, we have to wait. There is, however, a simple way to sneak a peek at how the game looks in action. Namely, we can all watch this VGX special trailer, made mainly out of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt VGX Trailer

Remember: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available DRM-free on GOG.com in 2014. We'll be keeping you updated on all developments in this matter.

I think I will need some new computer parts to play that game on my computer else that beauty would be a walking game instead of a running game ;)
Do you think that this game will become heavily modded, Just wondering because that is what is drawing me towards the PC version, if not then I will go console because my computer may not be able to run this breathtakingly beautiful game.
I don't really like Action-RPG's, but Witcher 2 had some interesting characters for what little I played of it. CDP should consider making a PC-exclusive strategy RPG with party-based combat, but with a mid-sized budget instead of blockbuster sized.
I hope GOG is releasing this exclusively. I'm sure that won't be the case. I just like the idea of them making a statement about DRM-free being important to pc gaming.

Well whatever happens I will buy this on GOG.

zeffyr: Dear Witchers, little question - after playing couple of hours (3 maybe) I found The Witcher 1 boring and I couldn't enjoy playing it at all. Is there any chance that The Witcher 2 will be for me?

Kadah: Yes, I also found The Witcher 1 boring - I didn't even finish the game. But then I started playing The Witcher 2 and seriously, seriously love the game. I think this is one of the best RPGs ever made - it's demanding (when you're not playing on the easy level), serious and mature. Try it!
It's a surprisingly common story actually. Funnily enough, it's mostly because the first three hours of the Witcher aren't really very good (imo). I'll qualify that statement by also saying right now that The Witcher (1 & 2) are two games that I consider among the best of all time. Try to get past the first bit (before you get into the city) and suddenly the game really opens up into something that's really quite special. The Witcher 2 is a lot more mass-market friendly with its gameplay mechanics though, so if that was your issue in 1, then 2 will be a big improvement for you.
Finally got around to watching the trailer. *drools* pretty please give us the option to turn off PhysX so those of us with AMD cards can play it at a decent level ;)
I'd love to play support you guys and buy it through GOG but i'm not sure my current rig can handle it...

It runs Witcher 2 at Ulta but this game being an open world may demand to much i'll wait till we find out the specs but this maybe an Xbox One purchase but we will see.

if you can play W2 on ultra, I'm sure you'll have no problem handling this. Maybe not on ultra, but fine enough.

Thanks for the input I'm relatively new to PC gaming i've never had a rig powerful enough to run games at such levels, So we'll see what happens I'm certainly as excited as anyone else though and if my computer will run Witcher 3 i'll be getting it off GOG :) I have the other two on here only seems right :)
Please don't make my rig crawl! Medium settings will be enough for me to play the game.
Love the Witcher, but I want to hear more about Cyberpunk 2077.
Will the game be available for mac on release? Or will we have to wait awhile before that happens. :(
