So the announcement of the announcement yesterday was for another batch of this day, the first batch is in fact going out.... RIGHT NOW!
First Batch of Winners, Wednesday 11/05 2011 Gold Award Winner:

{
The Jury was mighty impressed by David's fanart; the soft lighting and vivid colours give it a dreamlike, nearly surrealistic air. The Jury would strongly recommend David to show off more of his work, a talent such as this need to be shared! The vote was unanimous; Gold – of course!}

Silver:
SirCabbage “[I believe I deserve to win the Witcher 2] so that I can introduce my dragon of a girlfriend to a game long enough that she wont eat me like a fish. I know it has to be something good since she doesn't like games

{
Members of the Jury are all too familiar with SirCabbage's situation. We hope he can find a slew of excellent games for the 22$ of the award, that can even interest the dragon in his life}.

Bronze Award:
keeveek Entry:
“This is why i need to win the Witcher 2 - as you well know, the antarctic penguins are hardcore gamers. I have a lot of friends in penguins community, and they are begging me to have opportunity to play the Witcher 2. As you are aware, the only currency the penguins pay is the FISH, which is not available on gog.com.
You may say - "so buy the Witcher 2 copy for your penguin friends" -> it's not that easy. I am a dear friend of penguins, and their honour code says, that they can't receive any gift from a friend for free. They would have to pay me with fishes, and i don't really like fishes.
Peace to you, my friend, and be sure that penguins will build an ice totem of you, when they receive the Witcher 2. “
{
The Jury sends our best regards to our Antarctic friends, and hope they shall find something of interest in GOG's catalogue for the Bronze award.}.
