Should we mention that the sales is for all inXile games?

http://www.inxile-entertainment.com/news/2012/10/15/inxile-celebrating-its-10th-year-in-business-with-a-digital-garage-sale

Thanks to Gazoinks http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/gaming_deals_thread/post30869
Already got it updated. It's programmed into the game, you can start all three games from the main menu. Seems to be the Apple IIgs versions, as far as I can tell (never played the originals).

jamyskis: Am I missing something? I only see the remake there...

bazilisek: Scroll down, it's basically thrown in as a bonus.
Aaaaah. Interesting bonus. I already have the remake on DVD and it's in English.

Still, seeing as I can now buy the original trilogy legally and extract the DOS files...why not? I'll be kicking myself though if it turns up on GOG soon...
Weren't those games included in the Xbox version of the modern "Bard's Tale?" I remember reading something like that ....

Oh my...so they're not DOS versions?

SimonG: Maybe you've gotten a "Greece Bonus". For me it is still 2,74€ ;-)

JMich: Actually, as Baz said, it's an EU2 thingy. Check SteamPrices for even more fun ;)
Ah, Greece is in EU 2 then. Good call. (Side note, I really like that about Steam and DRM. Lower prices for areas of less average income. Still far from perfect, but at least a step in the right direction).

trebor8273: SimonG i agree never understand people who use GOG but moan about graphics!
LOL, I do, because I'm one of them.

There has to be a certain 'acceptable' standard of graphics for me or I'm just never going to play the game -- not if it's fuzzy, pixely and hard to figure out what's going on.

That's why I have avoided the older Might and Magic games for so long. Other than 8 and 9, the graphics suck!

And I've never understood people who complain about people complaining about graphics on GOG :) There are several hundred games on GOG that have awesome graphics, without having to buy the ones that are sub-standard (and some were sub-standard even for the time they were released in). That's why we 'decent graphics lovers' are here.
has anyone who's played chopperlifter HD tell me if its any good? it reminds me of desert strike from the pictures

Damn, I wish they had of posted this sale when I had cash. I haven't played Bard's Tale in forever...Oh well, always next time I suppose. :) Awesome to see this game available at a killer price though.
Anyone noticed how recently there seem to be quite a lot of old games releasing on Steam?

It was available at 75% off during the summer sale as well, so it will probably be during XMas as well. It wasn't announced though, you had to go looking.

Which one's? Recently I've only noticed Nethergate Resurrection, which isn't that old (even if it looks it).

It is NOT like Desert Strike. However, it is still a very good, hard and fun game. I really, really enjoyed it. A throwback to the old arcadish action games of the late '80s. Great jokes and solid gameplay. A steal for that price.

Aww damn, I must have missed it at the summer sale, as I went on a buying spree. Well, here's hoping that it will be. Even if not, I suppose 9.99 isn't so bad, especially for a good series like Bard's Tale.
