As an aside, at some point in the past I seem to have my mod rights to ban spambots removed. That means when I go to bed in a bit, I won't be able to keep deleting the threads. Sorry, lads (and lassies). I'll get that (and hopefully the spam issue) addressed tomorrow.

You'd save a lot of hassle giving the ability to delete spam by community cleaners. Some people would do it free of charge.

It would just give the user to delete things that have been marked as spam by several people for instance.
