The background of the counter looks kinda similar to the view of the planet on the first screen of the Mass Effect 1 :)
Since it is EA game (as BioWare is part of EA now) and EA can be said as an 'unexcelled' publisher, and the counter is due to stop one day before Mass Effect 2 European premiere maybe it will be an entire EA catalogue of old games with ME1 as a cherry on the top? :)
